Yep, seems it doesn’t work

EDIT - I see why. Seems you have to quantify the link, so www.google.co.uk for example needs to be https://www.google.co.uk

This is one that won’t work and here’s one that should work

@phenomlab why like it? users should not know how to enter link here. www or https does not matter for them. we could not fix it?

@cagatay Good question, but one that’s likely best answered by the devs themselves. Could easily be done with a simple jQuery regex but that would really just be painting over rotten wood.
