Solved VPNs & Netflix

I’ve noticed now with both SurfShark & NordVPN allow you to connect and use the Netflix app on Android, but when I try connect via app using my Nvidia Shield it comes up with a message saying I am using a proxy and please disable it to continue.

Has anyone else seen this before - work on one device but not another?

@jac have you installed the VPN software directly in the device ? Can you provide more detail in terms of how you’re connected ?

Installad the NordVPN app onto my Nvidia Shield device, along with the Netflix app, so logged in as normal and currently (when on it) connected to UK as it says it is the fastest.

I believe I’ve connected to a different VPN since and it’s worked even with the app.
