      Hello,

I search a good and free SFTP client application for Windows.
      I want this app :

      • support RSA OpenSSH2 key with not converted to putty format. (.ppk)
      • Connexion Manager

WinSCP is good but I must convert the RSA key.
Bitvise is good but the gestion of multiples profil is bad.

      grr

if you have a good software, I take it

        Yeah he’s great.

The only thing I blame him for is not having a connection manager that will group the profiles together rather than manually looking for a profile file as well as an encrypted safe to remember the password and key passphrase

It is rather the ergonomics that should be reviewed.

        Otherwise it’s pretty good.

@DownPW you’ll get used to the multiple profiles. BitVise is easily the best there is under Windows.

what I don’t like is saving profiles in files and then loading a profile file each time you connect

I like to set up my profiles and connect with one click like in WinSCP

@DownPW you can do that in BitVise. Either way, it’s a small sacrifice for a superior (and free) product. I too use multiple profiles and simply double click the file which starts BitVise then I just connect in the usual fashion.

              Easy.

@DownPW Hard to disagree with those points. I know what you mean in relation to WinSCP though as the connection manager is the first thing you see when you fire up the application. However, the huge downside of WinSCP is the incredibly slow file transfers… 😕

Yep I agree. I have test file transfer in SFTP with bitvise and it’s pretty good 😉

                    👍

Yes, I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised having come from WinSCP myself.
